Dear all,
today, I bring you a souvenir from Budapest.
When I visited Budapest two weeks ago, I was still inspired by our community members who had told us about what gets their creativity going. They had mentioned walks through cities or listening to sounds of nature and watching how situations change in the course of time. So this is what I did. I strolled through Budapest, calling on all the typical tourist “must-do” while filming my favourites with my smartphone.
In my little film, you can see a view onto Budapest filmed from on a Ferris wheel and a bridge across the river Danube filmed from underneath, (while I was staying on one of those typical tourist boats.) I layered both videos on top of each other and adjusted the transparency so you can see the first through the second.
For the musical scoring I used Asian wind bells and claves. I love the bells for their purity of sounds. (By the way, they are another cherished souvenir I brought back from my concert tours to Mongolia and Korea.)
I will upload the soundtrack and the sound material for you to download and remix on https://soundcloud.com/what-ifblog/.
