Thomas Wagensommerer is the latest member to join the What if? team. A media artist working in the fields of auditive and visual arts, Thomas explores these fields in installative and performative ways. This means he has the perfect experience set to do research on participatory art within our team, and he also contributes great creative energy to our work.

Thomas is also a lecturer for experimental media focusing on the theory of theatre, human-machine relations, and popular culture. He is very interested in the idea of open source, and likes to look at what possibilities this offers for society and in politics. Thomas looks at human engagement in a technology-centered world, and we are very glad to have his unique perspective when working together on the project.
