Making of: Who is Mad Maddy?

Dear all,

the new year has begun with many ideas for this blog and for the artwork of what if. All of them are so fresh (and some of them still so vague), that we hesitate to present them to you.

Yet, there is one idea that keeps poking me and I would like to share it with you.

In my last post I have introduced you to Mad Maddy. Up to now, she is just a sketch wanting to be included in the bigger artwork of what if.

She has not been brought to life yet.

Mad Maddy might be anybody. A tomboy, a girlie girl, a computer geek, a traveler, a dreamer, a doer. Her name allows her to be whoever she wants to be.

She needs stories of her life. Each of these stories could happen anytime and anywhere, in the present, in the future, in the past, in the office, in nature, at home. They can be real or utopian, placed in an existing country, or a science fiction setting.

Let’s start with the first question:

Is she a city girl?                                     Or does she come from the countryside?

Is she from a sunny place, or perhaps from icy Scandinavia? Or maybe a place we have never seen in our life?

Pick your choice and let us know. Send us a photo, leave a comment or drop a hint who Mad Maddy could be. Make her your own.

Cheers, I am sure she can live with that! Let’s see what other people think. Are you from San Francisco? Why not send us a pic of the house Mad Maddy lives in… The link for submission is provided in the post. 🙂
