Dear all,

during the past few weeks I have been working with the images the what-ifblog community sent us when answering our call for shelfies and catrinas. Your pictures are gorgeous, colourful, and every single one is so unique and individual. Thank you again. Each of them tells me a story about the person behind the picture.Yet, since all the stories are so different, it was much more intricate than expected to put them together in a video. Role reversal: I was being challenged by the community.

This is what I did.

Firstly, I wanted to use all of your pictures, every single one. I produced a video which was very rich and a little grotesque. I decided not to show it to you but to give it another try.

Then I tried a few other approaches, until in the end I decided to use five images only, a text and my music. Enjoy.
