Dear Fellow-Creatives,
Again and again I am fascinated by the many possibilites the internet provides us with to learn and spread our wings.
Of course, as many of you already know, wordpress.com helps us to pursue our aim to become proficient, poetic, regular bloggers who will be heard by the community. Thank you, The Daily Post, for the efforts you put in the Blogging university and Daily Prompts (and us bloggers).
Now, for those who need a new challenge, or a change of perspective, look at what I have found today:
Vimeo offers us their help in video shooting. The Vimeo Staff provides their users with a Video School, where they cover all the basics of shooting and editing videos and continue with challenges for all levels.
Summer holidays are approaching in the Northern hemisphere of the world. Time to spare, so why not give it a go? The lessons are inspirational, well done, and if we take it step by step, we might end up with videos we are proud of. Phantastic idea.
Why do I share this with you? Because if this is a blog for participatory art and a blog about identity, I think it is important to point us all to the means by which we we can learn our art and develop our personality.
In this sense I whish you all a happy video adventure!
Our featured video today is “Taking Steps” by Takayuki Akachi. I found it on the weekend challenge of the Vimeo school.
