Today, I would like to feature the beautiful work of Lia, a friend of mine from Vienna.
Lia is a visual artist and programmer. During the last 10 month she has explored the behaviour of a 3D printer and its filament (developing her own software in the process) to create a new kind of sculpture, native to the medium: the Filaments.
Lia impresses me as one of the very few women I personally know who works in software programming, develops apps for smartphones and creates beautiful digital art on her computer. I am also grateful that she contributed the artwork for the header of this blog.
Please visit her vimeo channel for more beautiful art work and share this post, if you like what you see.
